Scotland Majestic Retreat, June 18 - 25, 2023

This is a rare and unique art retreat. Daily painting locations abound and the artists can expect to paint the Scottish hills, castles, moors, and lochs as well as the abundant rivers and the coastal region of Aberdeenshire. the art Retreat is based in a splendid Manor Estate, Royal Deeside and it borders Balmoral Castle estate, the summer residence of the Royal Family. 

June 18 - 25, 2023. 7-day Manor Estate-based Artists Retreat in Scotland. 

Daily painting locations abound and the artists can expect to paint castles, the Scottish hills, moors as well as the abundant rivers and the breathtaking coastal region.

We have almost daily trips to painting locations and will also have ample opportunity to draw and paint on the estate of over 10,000 acres of prime land with woods, fields, rolling hills and beautifully landscaped gardens. It is here that the artists stay in a large traditional stone manor house. We can look forward to painting our surroundings, cool, green, fertile and teeming with wildlife, deer, foxes, birds both small and large, and salmon in the nearby River Dee.

The purpose of the art retreat is to make art in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings! You'll find camaraderie, connections, motivation and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Suitable for artists of all levels and all media, from fearless beginners to painting professionals. Non-painting partners are welcome.
