Americans in Paris Workshop May 13-23, 2026

Americans in Paris is an exclusive workshop with instructors, Juliette Aristides, Nicolas Martin, Patrick Lee, and Vanessa Rothe.  This workshop includes a 8-day program of painting and instruction at the Normandy Château and an enlightening two-day program in Paris. The cost includes tuition, food, wine, and accommodation at the Château (hotel recommendations provided for Paris), and transport from the Château to Paris. All entrances to museums and other venues are accompanied by our instructors. Lunches in Paris, museum visits and tours, and a river Seine paintout. The Americans in Paris Program and Workshop is part of the ongoing Americans in Paris Project created by Vanessa Rothe Fine Art.

The purpose of the workshop is to make art under the exceptional guidance of living masters in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings. You'll find new skills, camaraderie, connections, motivation and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Suitable for artists of all levels. This workshop is primarily for oil painters, but artists of other media will be accepted. Some drawing and painting experience is recommended. 

Non-painting partners and companions are welcome. There will be plenty for them to do.
