Historic Manor House Artist's Workshop in Scotland. 

Join us for an unforgettable art workshop on a pristine countryside estate. Be prepared for a sensual feast while you connect with art; enjoy the long hours of Scottish daylight; and discover Scotland's heritage - the flora and fauna of the countryside.

Instruction:

The workshop takes place in and around the extensive grounds of the magnificent manor estate, where you will be painting both models and the natural world. Expect to become fully immersed in Scottish life and the surrounding landscape. 

After stimulating lessons on the estate, we will venture out and try out our painting skills in the beautiful landscape, fishing villages and historic sites in this region of Scotland. Evenings are spent on the estate for ongoing painting demonstrations, discussions, and art-related activities with Ruth, and your fellow attendees. The instructor will be in residence with us for the duration of the trip.

What's included:

The cost includes double-occupancy accommodation on the estate (upgrades are limited but may be available), meals and wine on the estate (breakfast, lunch and dinner), grab-and-go lunch ingredients if painting off the estate, entrances to shows and exhibits, and ground transportation. Two meals out are paid at guests' own expense, but are optional. Our pick-up point is Aberdeen airport.

The purpose of the workshop is to make art in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings! You'll find camaraderie, connections, motivation and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Suitable for artists of all levels and all media, from fearless beginners to painting professionals. Non-painting partners are welcome.
