Historic Manor House Artist's Workshop in Scotland. 

Join us for an unforgettable art workshop on a pristine countryside estate. Be prepared for a sensual feast while you connect with art; enjoy the long hours of Scottish daylight; and discover Scotland's heritage - the flora and fauna of the countryside.

Instruction:

The workshop is structured so that you can learn from both of these award-winning and internationally recognized watercolor painters. First up is Lisa Wang's intensive workshop during which she will show us how to create a spontaneous image full of emotion and atmosphere from reference photographs, allowing you to adopt and use these techniques in your own painting! Bring your iPad or tablet.

After this, Joseph will step up as the instructor and we will go on a journey of learning from this master artist while plein air painting. We will visit various sites to paint, including castles, seaside villages, the surrounding countryside, and also our own estate.

The purpose of the workshop is to make art under the exceptional guidance of living masters in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings! You'll find new skills, camaraderie, connections, motivation and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Pro tip: Bring your camera because you will want to snap references to paint later as you will be truly inspired by your surroundings.

What's included:

The cost includes double-occupancy accommodation on the estate (upgrades are limited but may be available), meals and wine on the estate (breakfast, lunch and dinner), grab-and-go lunch ingredients if painting off the estate, entrances to shows and exhibits, and ground transportation. Two meals out are paid at guests' own expense, but are optional. Our pick-up point is Aberdeen airport.
