Fontainebleau Mini Art Retreat, May 6-11 2024

We are excited to welcome our artists to an enriching and compact version of our legendary art retreats - in a new location for us! Hosted in a genuine 18th century Château, this is the perfect château-based art experience where you can devote time to your painting in a distraction-free environment. Find your inspiration from the daily painting locations while getting to know your fellow artists in highly creative surroundings.

The cost includes all accommodations, food on the estate (breakfast, lunch and dinner), grab-and-go lunch ingredients if painting off the estate, entrances, and ground transportation. A group lunch out and a group dinner out are paid at our guest's own expense and are optional. Our pick-up point is the CDG Airport in Paris.

The estate is about 45 minutes south of Paris.  Your itinerary includes painting in fabulous locations including Forêt de Fontainebleau and Versailles.  We will be in the heart of the Barbizon near Fontainebleau, where Naturalism met Impressionism. Bring your camera because you will want to snap references to paint later as you will be truly inspired by your surroundings.

The purpose of the art retreat is to make art in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings! You'll find camaraderie, connections, motivation, and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Suitable for artists of all levels and all media, from fearless beginners to painting professionals. Non-painting partners are welcome and there is plenty for them to do.
