From USD $5,700.00
  • Duration: 9 Days
  • Location: Languedoc
  • Product code: WIF-JZLW-2024

Our Fall watercolor workshop with Joseph Zbukvic and Lisa Wang is located in the Languedoc region of the South of France. It is an extraordinary opportunity to paint with two master watercolor artists and spend 9 idyllic days in the South of France. All while surrounded by the natural beauty and bounty of this lush region.

The workshop is structured so that you can learn from both these award-winning and internationally recognized watercolor painters. First up is Lisa Wang's intensive workshop. She will be teaching successful watercolor painting using selected images as the source material. This is an excellent way of learning watercolor painting without the added challenges of being outdoors, painting from life. Lisa will show us how to create a spontaneous image full of emotion and atmosphere from reference photographs. You will be able to adopt and use these techniques in your own painting! Bring your iPad or tablet.

After this, Joseph will step up as the instructor and we will go on a journey of learning from this master artist while plein air painting. We will visit various sites including hilltop villages and surrounding countryside as well as our own estate to paint views of the countryside and quaint villages.

All levels of painters will benefit from this workshop, from fearless beginners to professional artists.

The cost includes all accommodations, food on the estate (breakfast, lunch and dinner), grab-and-go lunch ingredients if painting off the estate, entrances to venues, and ground transportation. We have two official meals out which are at the artists' own expense, and are optional. Our pick-up point is either the Montpellier Airport or train station.

Your itinerary includes painting with Joseph and Lisa in fabulous locations,  markets, vineyards, and visits to breathtaking hilltop villages. We’ve chosen locations where we have access to our vehicles, materials and cafés. Bring your camera because you will want to snap references to paint later as you will be truly inspired by your surroundings.

The purpose of the workshop is to make art under the exceptional guidance of living masters in distraction-free aesthetic surroundings! You'll find new skills, camaraderie, connections, motivation and above all, inspiration as an artist.

Suitable for artists of all levels. This a watercolor workshop where non-painting partners are welcome. There will be plenty for them to do.

Once registered, we'll be in touch with all the details to help you arrive prepared.
